We booked this tour from Climb Fansipan and everything went smoothly from the get-go. It was a 2 day 1 Night trek. I found it physically demanding as we were running a tight schedules with minimal rests. I cannot stress the importance of warm clothing especially if you are intending to hike it during the December-Jan period. The temperature can be as low as 0 degree celsius. It was especially hard to get to sleep at night..especially when our tent was getting pounded by ferocious winds. It was supported by bamboo sticks (tent is built by the guide and porters from Climbfansipan.com). Thankfully, it didnt cave in! We set off at about 5am to make our final push to the summit. Bring torchlights as there are some roots that jut out from the ground. I wore my Vibrams Five Fingers...bad choice! When we reached the summit, the rush of emotions and the sense of achievement is simply overwhelming. For those who want to make a phonecall to their special ones back in town, there is reception...NOT from Vietnam but from China!
We made our descent with little fuss but i have to add that the constant balancing and stepping downs is rather jarring for the knees!

Thumbs up to Climb Fansipan, especially Dem, our guide :)

Good experience for my kids and I, we trekked through the villages and end up on the other side of the hill. stopped by a waterfall, cross a bamboo hill and saw lots and lots of Padi fields on the terrace to climb up Fansipan mountain. It took about 6 hour to trek up on the trail and wonderful views from the dense forest. Tour guide and porter are very helpful to us!

4 of us were thrilled with the way the friendly staff took time to discuss our trip and ideas with my 60 year old friend. We chose a motor bike ride for the day - to the mountain top and then through the valley to small villages. Our driver A Su pillioned friends and I rode with them. A Su spoke good English and was charming, knowledgeable and great fun. He introduced us to local people he knew and took us to the sorts of places we were most keen to see. 3 of our friends climbed to the mountain and all the arrangement was smoohtly and well done. We had an excellent experience and would highly recommend him and his team from Climb Fansipan
And the food and dinner cooked on mountain at 2800 M was fantastic, as was the company!

We did two separate treking tour with Climb fansipan while were in Sapa and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our two guides were native Hmong women and A Du guide to Fansipan peak who had lived their whole lives in the area. They knew every paths of the forest better than anyone and showed us every things we would have never able to experience without them. Very knowledgable, fantastic trip and very fun. Food and landscape on the mountain was fantastic. Wonderful trip in my life!

I would love to tell you that i love everything about this trip. A Duc was very nice and warm, he took care of everything to make me feel comfortable. The guide and the porter was very friendly, they didn't talk that much but you can be sure whenever they stay by your side, you gonna be safe. The best thing is that i got the nice friends from this trip and we still had a little trip in Hanoi together.

Thank you for making good things happen :)
