Info - 3 days Fansipan trip story 
Informations

We did a 3d2n trip deeply to the dense forest, discovered the unique treasure of the forest in the area and luckily we got an experienced H mong guy to escort us.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Tram Ton (2200m) Trek to the first base camp (2800)
After meeting with Climb fansipan Team working out all the essencial things to climb. Today we will begin the first part of our ascent  with a trek through terraced rice paddies and some of the hilltribe villages. Setting out from Sapa we descend into the nearby village of Cat Cat and cross Muong Hoa River. Past the river we start our upward trek to reach an elevation of 2200m where we will have lunch break.

In the afternoon we will continue trek to the first base camp at an elevation of 2,800 m. The terrain in the afternoon becomes steeper and more difficult as we trek through massive Arrowroot plantations and up steeper slopes surrounded by bamboo. Sleep in a house built by the authority...

Day 2: Viet Hung base camp – final step to 3143m of Fansipan – Viet Hung base camp again

We woke up in the early morning then trek through primary forest containing giant, century old pine trees and expanses of bamboo see more spectacular view until to the peak of Mt. Fansipan. We were on the peak of the roof of Indochina. Spending wonderful time to enjoy our trophy time then proceed to trek down. Our decent will be over large boulders, down a fairly steep slope. Back to sleeping place. Dinner and overnight there.

Some climbers take a cable car down to Sapa to shorten their trekking trip to extend to homestay and village trekking tour to Ta Van, cable car cost is 600 000 VND, apro 27 USD /tickets, they do a 2d1n Fansipan tours, both forest trekking and cable car trip down to Sapa.

Day 3: Back to Sapa via Sin Chai. Night train to Hanoi
Today we trek downhill all the way via Sin Chai village. We will reach Sapa around lunch time. In the afternoon we will then be free to take  a shower  at the hotel and relax after the climb, you can use Free internet at A Duc house, he has some rooms for climbers to relax. In the late afternoon we will be transferred (Seat In Coach basis) to the railway station for night train to back Hanoi then Overnight in AC soft sleeper cabin...We say goodbye to A Duc and really highly appreciate his Team for their very good arrangment....We become Friend nicely!.
